it was a fab gathering w the sec sch peeps today (:
sheena, sl, xy, ah ni, ml~
was kind of relieved its a all girls gathering,
coz we got to get presents for exchange.
hehe.
easier to buy for girls only mah!

got my present from precious thots.
guess what?
siling and meilan too!
forever friends mah...
nine years and counting ok, mai siao siao!
hope ah ni u like the pillow okay!
(we did balloting hehehe)

laogong wanted to get forever friends present also,
for his entrepreneurship minor friends' party.
so paiseh but i chided him,
'you guys know each other how long only, forever friends meh?'
opps. i think i too direct alr.
paiseh.

got his exchange present at catchybags,
a toilet roll/square tissue box holder.
wanted to get a piggy soft toy one,
to put in his car (he suggested).
but in the end no new stocks alr,
and i wun be in singapore for a good half yr at least anw.
so awwwww, i din get it in the end ):
i am so going to hunt hunt hunt for a soft toy to hug in shanghai!

followed by going to collect laogongs' O2.
finally its repaired.
blur him dropped it onto metal,
and the entire lcd cracked.
at least it wasn't as ex as expected.
but this phone really cost a lot!
from me getting it for him,
to the incident with singtel,
and the charger K.O due to power surge in usa,
den lastly the phone spoil.
but he likes it, thats all that matters (:

and den headed to acer to repair my com,
plus the supposedly can't read external cd drive.
in the end queued for 1.5 hrs,
and nothing's wrong.
arrrghhhhh!
waste our time, hrmp.
sorry laogong for me being so blur k..

and then it was the gathering in ichiban boshi!
their sushi is really ichiban~
we ate so much i am still full now,
a total of 8 hrs later?

laogong sent everyone home after the show,
and we headed for supper,
nop i did not eat,
but poor him had to share 2 pizzas among 15 pple in the party,
i figured he must be hungry.
LOL~

thats basically the summary of my day.

thanks laogong for accompanying me these full 4 days of your break from school.
i know i can be pretty troublesome when you don't have enough time for me,
(perhaps thats an understatement)
evident from all the days u spent pia-ing your entre projects,
which i don't really want to think nor talk about, really.
seriously hope ur en103 will not take ur entire new year break away,
i am looking forward to more fun and countdown!
and ya, i love you, i really do!!! (:

on the side note:
really appreciate you flying down to shanghai with me,
its super sweet.
and i think i am going to miss you all the more when you come back for sch,

seems like i am abandoning this blog alr,
promise i won't though!

genting trip was fun,
but the casino was really smelly,
people were smoking like nobody's business.
played da xiao w xiang & laogong.
RM100 only, we not hard core.

GIP trip is finally confirmed.
will be working in shanghai, pudong.
staying with 3 other people.
found them using emails (:
applying for jiaotong university.
leaving on 7th jan 08, 0130 flight.
by singapore airlines!!!
(i am really excited about the SQ detail!)

had my medical checkup,
which unfortunately,
consisted of 3 jabs in under a record of 2 mins.
oh man,
luckily it doesn't hurt tt much.
and luckily i am not so afraid of injections anw.
hehe.

settled my visa, insurance & accomodation.
anyone wan to visit me in china?
i have a 7 days CNY break,
and a 5 days labour day break!!!

exams are over!!!
but i don't feel the overwhelming happiness.
i don't think i felt it last sem either.
what happened to my feelings?!

conclusion of another semester.
if i successfully make it to china,
it will be one year to my next exams (:

getting kind of scared for gip though.
i couldn't get through to either coca cola or siemens,
so i will most probably end up in shanghai.
(what a waste coz olympics is in beijing!)
but i originally wanted shanghai anw,
so it doesn't matter, huh?
and better if its shanghai also,
coz den i can be housemate with puayleng!

oh ya, reason for being scared..
gip office contacted me yesterday for an interview,
which i am supposed to arrange for and call them myself,
either thru phone, skype, msn or qq (i dunno whats tt?!)
i just sent an email over asking for a convenient time,
yes the email was in chinese and it took me 15 minutes,
to type a 2 sentence email.
wonder how am i supposed to survive there :(
traveling is one thing.
living there is another!

and not to mention, my chinese isn't exactly A+ kind.
i wasn't involved in any kind of chinese activities,
and i am getting really really scared. =x
but well, i can survive.
i know i can. i speak chinese so we can communicate.
thats the least to ask for. hehehe.

i slept at 7 pm last night.
due to tummyache and the fatigue of 3 papers in 3 days.
i can't imagine laogong's 4 papers in 4 days.
it was hard work trying to concentrate on studying.
not to mention when i have no confidence or whatsoever.

mummy told me not to study so hard.
ultimately its just a piece of paper.
but i have already spent so much of my time,
energy and not to mention,
the pulling down of my gpa becoz of econs,
that i am not going to give it up.
it would be a waste of so much of my time,
i could have used my UEs to take easy modules to get a good gpa!

so this morning i told my mom,
its just another year more of hard work.
i won't give up and i can't give up now.
hehe. but when i am in my final year,
i think i will be complaining like mad!
muahaha.

this is a rant post.

i feel so pek chek now.
my blog is soooo boring with no pictures.
i eat so much i am gaining 1kg every month or maybe more.
my projects are so overwhelming tt i feel sad.
i sleep too much tt i feel guilty.
i wan to watch movie but i can't coz laogong got quiz next week.
i read pple's blog and i know they also have alot of things due.
i'm supposed to feel better coz i am not alone,
but i feel even more stressed, like others stress are pumped into me.
i think i am going crazy.
i dun like to worry so much about my grades.
i think i stressed lijun too much about 411.
which although i finished in good time,
despite the efforts put into it,
i have no good feelings about.
i have no idea what clare wants.
the 40% is as well forsaken.
i spent so much time on the proj,
and reading the textbook.
but i still dunno what clare wants.
i worry about my gpa,
but i dunno how to pull it up.
i skip lessons all the time,
but i have no idea how to catch up.
i feel thankful i am escaping to china next sem.
but i dunno how i can face my workload in my final yr,
with 6 modules per sem,
and out of which 5 will be core modules,
coz i want to graduate in time,
instead of wasting 6k in another sem.
speaking of which,
i have yet to know the results of my scholarship interview;
if i fail that i got to go for another interview.
which just adds up to the stress level.
the last project submission is due on the 16th;
and my 1st papers on 19th.
i really really really dunno what to do with my life right now,
but the do the projs projs and more projs.
and praying hard tt the profs would be nice,
and give me a good grade,
so my gpa would be pulled way above what it is now.

i am so looking forward to dec.
genting with laogong & family 14th - 16th dec.
taiwan with laogong end of dec (tbc)
i miss chole and carol and all the taiwanese.
and cheng will be flying down from usa also.

have just updated my to-do list.
i nv thought much bout promoting,
from one yr to the next.
but looking at the to-do list just proved smthing.
YEAR 3 IS NO JOKE.
mai siao siao!

on top of the to-do lists are alot of other minor stuffs.
like, textbook reading for clinical psy;
catching up with macro-econs lect & tut;
catching up with political economy readings;
study for all the modules for exams.
(no time to even do tt lar)

and the reason why i am guilt riden.
i have officially spent my wkend in my family's chalet!
(extended family tt is)
and i have EFFECTIVELY spent two nights playing mj.
with the same grp of cousins.
and i slpt the day away in b/w.
which means i have not been completing my reports,
nor doing up my presentation slides.
geez.
i think i dunno the meaning of being slaughtered for my grades yet.

its 5.22am of sunday right now.
and i have 14861835623756 zillion things to complete for tmr.

in order of importance

3. call siling bout photo mod!
4. prepare for monday's interviews
5. political economy report draft

and i think 1 & 2 wld take till evening alr.

from the last time i updated,
actually not much happened?

instep results were out on friday,
when i was working in era.
i was so excited tt i used WAP in my hp to check the results.
but i guess i was too excited.
coz i was happily expecting macquire uni in aussie,
but in the end i got pusan national uni in korea.
and i can't speak korean!
how to survive there?!
so i put instep on the waitlist..

den the icon committee called me,
said that i was shortlisted for the main commitee.
i happily assumed that it was for financial controller.
but in the end,
it was for liasion officer.
which i do not want.
so i said i needed to think about it.

i was willing to give up instep for the position de leh.
& i applied for minor in entrepreuneurship.
but in the end i din wan the liasion officer position. =x

spent the wkend slacking away.
not to be proud of, of course.
helped limin w her focus grp in bugis lib.
its the first time i've been inside it!
its huge & of course, nice. =p

and driving practical was on wed morn,
which i failed with an amazing 36 points.
sotong me aced my circuit,
but i failed miserably out in the road.
must be i concentrated too hard in circuit practice alr.
and i happily drove on the right lane after U-turning.
laogong said that shld be an immediate failure.

dun really want to give myself a death sentence so early in the semester.

i wun deny that the timetable got something to do with the decision,
but i guess i do know myself best.
a module i dun like PLUS an early timetable = suicidal.
i wun attend lectures, full stop.

but den again,

could end up to be a waste of precious time,

the feeling of sinking back into reality is bad.
really literally bad.

gone are the days of traveling,
the only worries are where to go & what to do.
how to control my shopping & whether shld i earn more money.
all these seem so small compared to the stress felt in sch.
or maybe those aren't stressful at all.
haha.

taking 23 AUs this sem.
& suddenly realised the readings are so much!
with econs both being essay style exams,
psy lab being 3 projs,
with one individual proj which is 40% & i dun even know how to start,
(plus the fact that we have to 'por' the prof, coz the course is totally prof dependent)
they are grading all our projs, presentations etc.
*& we dun really like the prof =(
german is something i am looking forward to,
but kelda keeps telling me its really difficult to score.
but i am not intending to S/U it leh..
advance stats is another mod i am not looking forward to.
more maths. BLAH.
at least clinical i am looking forward to too..
but with clare teaching,
who knows.

and another thing making me really really overwhelmed is....
my tp date is 12th sept.
& i have done so far 12 lessons in driving.
i need at least 8 more lessons to be able to take the driving test,
(at least my instructor told me i can pass in 20 lessons)
but he is fully booked next wk.
so i have not drove for the past 3.5 mths,
and i am only going to start learning again on 20th aug.
& i have forgotten how to park.
both vertical & parallel.
i haven been into circuit before.
and laogong told me not to have such high hopes on passing.
coz i seem to be taking a crash course for this tp.
ARGGHHHHH!!!!!!

thus the solution?
i am going for daily driving lesson from 27th aug onwards till my tp date.
i dun believe i am so lousy.
i refuse to believe that at least.

everything's settled.

the past few days has been almost like a dream,
mostly becoz we'ven been able to slp much.
it was a nice gathering with cousins & families,
but as quoted from my sis,
its not a very good way to have a gathering.

also realised that many pple has this 'ban dan' thing bout funerals.
with what some thinks 7 days cannot go pples hse,
to 49 days,
& some even to 100 days.
like HUH?

and some cannot celebrate cny for 3/5 yrs.
i dun think my family's THAT ban dan la.

i feel rather guilty though,
that maybe i prolonged ah gong's suffering.
everyone's like saying he's waiting to see me for the last time,
before going..
its not as if i dunno alright?
the coincidence that ah gong passed away the day after i went to visit him.
alot of things are not predictable.
i signed up for work & travel last yr.
i'm sorry if i made the mistake.

i just dun understand why pple like to point out details to make others guilty.

the dao shi who did my ah gong's cremation said that,
there were shapes of flowers as ah gong burnt..

to walk all the looooong way,
when holiday inn provides shuttle service downtown.

in the first place we din know US Bank is in downtown i guess.

a huge relief off us.

it was the americans treat.

and we had ice cream (HUGE) after that.
it was so filling! its chinese food again!

we prepared a farewell dinner for them yest.
ate at lodge cafeteria.
we had a looooong table!
it was fun, chatted for so long.

but we are still really sad that we're leaving.
hopefully there will be a reunion in asia next yr!

so i decide to give motorola the benefit of the doubt.

it was freezing.

coz the night before yest,
jen, rebecca & 2 of their friends came over to our cabin,
and we watched the chronicles of narnia.
so we slept late.

trust me,

before we walked around looking for the best spots for fireworks.
in the end we sat in front of the baseball field;
that has the best view of the entire town.
(it was someone else's lawn. they were kind enough to let us sit there!)

headed back after that & we reached yellowstone at 2.45 am.
jen must be soooo tired.

this time round we entered through the northeast entrance.

and guess what?
we saw a black bear walked by our car!
somewhere near roosevelt village.
it was a major OMG.
some pple dun see bears the entire season they work in yellowstone!
and one walked past our car,
and past laogong's car door.
*faint*

BUT BUT BUT.
our camera started to slow.
it slumbered into the tall grass at the side of the road.
*damn*
why can't the side of the road be a meadow?!

before heading to west yellowstone,
we headed to several geyser basins.
even to the grand prismatic pool,
the biggest hot spring in yellowstone!

the weather has really changed such that we HAVE to wear tees & shorts.
the sun was shining so bright,

like FINALLY!

we saw a forest fire from afire when driving down to west.
the smoke was thick.
we actually tot it was clouds...
kind of sad to think bout the trees burning..
but the reason the smoke was so thick,
was coz the fire fighters were fighting it alr.

finally we reached west yellowstone!
and since barry only knew one place which sold chinese food,
we ate there.
its ala-carte though,
not buffet...

chinatown buffet.
i can tell u guys,
the fried rice rocks!
maybe not as good as places in singapore,
but after eating 2 months on rice with no taste,
strange texture etc....
(no offense to the cooks!)
well,
we definitely had a great dinner!

barry wanted to treat us,
but we beated him to it.
coz we chuan tong with the boss.
by speaking chinese of course.
=)

it wasn't cheap as well...

i had my fav choco chip cookie dough ice cream,
and lu had her huckleberry ice cream.
& the single scoop ice cream was triple scoop in a cup..

(i am not really an ice-cream person ya....)
but from our expressions,
u guys can tell its yummy right?
hahaha.

and finally,
the last stop of the day!

no where near walmart of course.

sorry bout the lack of updates,
next up will be the short trip to west yellowstone,
and the road trip to devils tower.

nor resized yet.
so thats got to wait!

barry (our assistant manager) brought us to west yellowstone.
and we headed to several geyser basins as well.

and we had chinese food!
CHINESE FOOD!
haven had them in a loooong time.
yummy.

and we used CHOPSTICKS!
missed that too =p

went to devils tower the very next day,
with cheng (our teamleader) and his room mate.
it was a 9 hrs drive there,
and another 9 hours drive back.
and guess what?
we slept on the way there & back.
most of the time anw.
haha.
like pigs hor?

devils tower wasn't as magnificant as thought to be though.
not as tall as imagined and everything.
but it was a worth it trip.
esp since it was US's first national monument.
and yellowstone was US's first national park.
haha.
so we've been to plenty of US's first.
LOL.

so i guess the break was well deserved.

coz his room was renovated and now become biggggg.

but i enjoy this feeling of slackness.

have been discussing on the bus ride back home from horseback riding.
our next short overseas trip.

thailand -> bangkok or shanghai.
if we are going thailand,
have decided to employ xiang as our guide.

i love thinking bout traveling,

love the experience of being in another place.

horse back riding!

the days lunch was pizzas.
and i can assure u guys,
its no where close to pizza hut.
so since laogong got the park perks,
which was cash which we can use anywhere in the park,
we went for geyser grill.
=)

the horseriding was at a ranch in west yellowstone,
which means its west of our working place.
ok, duh...
it was an 1.5 hr or so ride out.
and this time,
air conditioning was on..
so no car sickness.

to say i was not scared would have been lying.
haha.

but it wasn't that bad...
at least the horses were well trained to...
erm.

when the horse in front stopped,
it stopped.
and i din even have to prompt it to move.
it just moved when the horse in front moved.

either that or it was worked too hard.
coz it was so reluctant to move...

but at least its not obvious la.

thats how we travelled.

coz the trail was all too narrow.

anyway,
we went into the woods.

and when we looked back,
it was breathtaking!

the horses were troting/galloping,
at some point in time.
at first it was fine....
until it got me out of breath,
and clinging on for me dear life.
(ok i am exaggerating)
it was fun,
though my butt was slapping up and down on the saddle.
OUCH.
laogong told me to stand on the stirrups.
but my knee was painful.
old injuries.
so i got to tahan the butt slapping saddle throughout.
till now my butt is still pain when i sit on hard plastic chairs!!!
and i haven recovered from the bike ride to mystic falls somemore.

just typing into my laptop.
no photos for this week.
coz we've pretty much finished the tours we wanted to go,
and we haven been to much interesting places.

housekeeping was supposed to be overstaffed & overbudget.
coz 5 of them except for us,
nicole, james, lu, wing fai & josh,
are working a 2nd job in the employee cafeteria (EDR).
and jian niao got to pay them for the overtime they clocked.
and also becoz of this,
he is trying to cut back our hours of working.
=.=

so to get back to him,
laogong & i encourage them to work longer hours in the EDR.
to clock more OT to give him a gigantic headache.
we win. LOL.
childish yes.
but there's nothing else we can do right?
since we are leaving soon....
more OT also means they will earn more mah.
=)

time passes very fast when we are doing housekeeping.
coz one room takes us 30 to 45 mins to clean.
and time passes unknowingly.
i think u guys know what i mean.

sometimes i wonder what others are thinking.
they say one thing & do the other.
...

i want to change my job to either mid-porter or night porter.
but the timing is strange.
though the pay is better.
it also means we'd be working different timings.
since its only 5 wks left.
forget it i guess.

i always think of alot of things to blog about when doing my job.
mainly coz the job is routine & mundane.
but i forget bout them by the end of the day.
haha.

planned my timetable yesterday.
should be trying to take:
german level one with laogong
lab in developmental psy (no exams, yay!)
some stats course which the prof says is REALLY IMPT.
(but i really dun like it...)
clinical psy
intermediate macro econs
political history of SEA.

that would be 6 modules in all.
3 psy, 2 econs & 1 language mod.
but lab & clinical only offers one class each.
which means i may not be able to get clinical psy for next sem.
i am crossing my fingers for that.
esp since i have lousy internet connections over here.
should be emailing troy (our admin officer) to help me get my mods i guess?
if not i would take a social psy module.

wonder if i can cope with the workload.
but i guess i should have faith in myself.
hehe.
looking forward to taking german lessons with laogong!
we haven been able to study together since he entered army.

got back from white water rafting 4 hours ago.
it was class 2.
relatively calm rapids.
(if there's such a thing?)

had a fun time,
thought it would be coldddddd!
but it ended up alright.

was stoning alot though.
coz most parts of yellowstone river is really calm.
would love to go for the gelatin river (class 4)
that would leave me with no time to stone.
hehe.

off day with nothing to do = bored
wanted to get on the circle of fire tour bus this morning.
but since its a saturday,
they were almost fully booked.
so we may be stranded in grant village w/o a way to come back.
in the end,
we decided not to take the risk.

went back to cabin to zzz.
ok.
i did. laogong did not. =x

looking for a 2nd job now,
but not sure if we really want it?
james, nicole, lu, wingfai & josh are alr working..
in the employee dining room (EDR).
as kitchen crew..
but we are kind of lazy.

me for one,
dun see the point of working so hard..
its like slaves (in laogong's way of thoughts).
sometimes,
i see us like how we look at maids in singapore.

money can be earned in the future mah.
at least tts how i feel la.

got our paycheck on wed.
it was more den expected.
i thought that taxes would take a BIGGGG chunk off our pay..
strangely,
it was only 5% of our total pay.
made me wonder why cedarpoint deduct so much taxes?

first thing being...
ignore me if i am being mean,
but our boss is on off today!!!
means its barry (our assistant manager) whos in charge of us.
he doesn't rush us nor make us feel frustrated.

despite the fact tt i had like,
12 due outs & 2 occupied,
it turned out to be a great day,
which is pretty much unexpected.

due out rooms are those which the guest has checked out.
we have to make the 2 queen beds,
wash the basin,
scrub & deep clean the bath tub (which i always do the other way... =x)
and clean the toilet bowl,
restock the towels, lotions, shampoos & more,
dust the room,
and vacuum the room.

all those....
in supposedly 28 mins.
but i bet not even our team leaders can do it.
they make beds slower den us for goodness sake.
all they do is check rooms & help make some beds.
there are those who don't even help at all. =.=

i got one of the TL who doesn't help today.
and is very particular bout the bathtub.
must scrub it clean clean den he will be satisfied.
so its one of the first day which i really did the tubs the proper way.
normally i dun care.

oh & occupied rooms,
just arrange back the beds to look nice,
make sure tt the bathtub is clean & looks nice also.
restock the towels, shampoos etc.
and of course, vacuum.
its supposed to take 15 mins.

actually i think the good thing bout today is.....
our boss isn't arnd la.
with him arnd,
everyone are like gan chiong spider.
always being rushed despite the fact tt we have till 4.30 for our rooms.
=.=

tmr is supposed to be our offday.
but i think it has to be postponed to another day.
coz wingfai & josh wants to swop.
so i got to work tmr!

i was just less den a metre from it.
coz i crept up on it....
and it did not run off.
hehe.

we waited for the eruption of grand geyser.
its supposed to go up to like 10 to 15 stories high?
but we waited....... and waited...... and waited......

till even laogong wants to zzz.
and it still did not erupted.
so we did not wait.
(we saw it from afar though, somewhere along the hike it erupted. haha)

hopefully we can transit there again.

sadly we can't tour LA coz we are both tt few months away from 21st.
so we can't rent a car!
the transport system there is close to zilch.
sians.

but i get to go to my florida!!!
and all the factory outlets!

it snowed last week.
unexpectedly.
when i was working halfway,
the snow came down.
i thought it was rain.
but after observing it closer,
its SNOW!!!

now the weather is warming up.
i used to wear.....

it was supposed to be an easy hike.
but as usual,
the lack of stamina me was panting away uphill.

reached san frans on 6th may 07!

the whole sign outside wrote "San Francisco International Airport"
too long to take into one picture.

took the shuttle from SFO to travelodge north.
this is the poolview from the door of our room. hehe.
did not take much pics in the hotel also.

breakfast-ed in International House of Pancake (IHOP).
the pancake servings were HUGE!
i took the less calories servings (supposed to be less)
but i was full within 1 & a half slice.
what a waste =.=.
headed off back to SFO for our domestic flights after breakfast.

us in the airport waiting for the domestic flight to salt lake city.
after the unsuccessful search for the lost & found department in SFO.
=.=.
they just pushed us from one place to the other.
and their so called complimentary phones were sucky.
CAN'T CONNECT TO THE AIRLINES AT ALL.
WHAT THE HELL!

our boarding passes.
first time sitting on the first row of an airplane!
but the plane was really small. haha.

lunch-ed in salt lake city before waiting for the next flight into bozeman.
so we took some crazy photos.

i am busy re-sizing the photos,

p.s i am 14 hrs behind singapore time.

we are currently staying in a cabin.
with marmots as our neighbours.
they are CUTEEEEEE!
need i say more? haha.
marmots are beavers look alike.
just that they do not need to survive in water.

coz it was outside our cabin & i was at the door.
but i was afraid it wld bite me.

the last day in taipei did not have much photos.

headed to ding tai fung for breakfast.
they are really famous for their xiaolongbao!
yupp & we WALKED again. =.=

and luckily we arrived early,
coz when we left at about 11,
there was a looonnnngggg queue outside dingtaifung!

headed down to taipei underground mall after that.
nothing much there,
drank coffee at mr brown's (like starbucks)
& bought 2 dvds from the stores.
their old shows are so much cheaper than singapore!
i got qian jing bai fen bai & love story in harvard.
p.s sis ar, wait for u borrow the vcd, my hair have alr turned white!
hehe.

lunched in tamago-ya, the dan dan wu.
not becoz we were hungry.
but our legs couldn't take it anymore.
i just wanted to find anywhere to SIT DOWN!

taiwan uncle & auntie den fetched us for dinner.
had yakiniku (its like seoul garden).
we did not bring our cameras in (like again.)
its kind of like cooking on bbq grills.
& its buffet style.
taiwanese calls it 'chi dao bao'.
was really nice.
if not for the fact that i was so full from breakfast & lunch.
i would definitely have eaten so much more!

will wait for their daughters to email us! =)

& we ended our trip in taipei.
headed down to the airport all smelly.
haha.
luckily there was the business centre there for us to bath.
free internet, massage chair, drinks all included.
but its not very cheap =x

where airs are fresh & waters are clean.
it was a nice dinner!

coz it will only look like dots.

when you see psychology students screaming their heads off at each other, don't be too quick to judge, because no, they are not fighting.

when they share similar experiences of using the 80 MCQs to answer the essay questions, you know something is not right.

when they reprimand their professor, "HOW CAN YOU SET THAT KIND OF QUESTIONS?!" when he walks down to collect the papers, you know something has seriously gone wrong.

almost the whole pioneer cohort is traumatized.

Tyreal came home from school disappointed. "I hate English, dem teachers are always changing stuff".

Tyreal: "Naw, momma, I sware I didn't. I used all of my spelling words in a sentence like the teacher say, but the teacher, she gave me an "F".

1. HOTEL - My Momma said that she ain' gon tell her friend Shaqueta nothing else, cause that HOTEL (hog tell?) everthang she know.

2. HONOR ROLL - We was playing bidwiz on the stoop the other day and man, I was HONORROLL . (on a roll)

3. PLANET - Leroy got arrested cause he got him some seed to grow weed, and he PLANET (plant it) in the backyard. !

4. DISMAY - I went for a blood test, the doctor pulled out a needle and said DISMAY (this may) hurt a little.

5. OMELETTE - I should punch you for what you jes said but OMELETTE (i'm going to let?) it go dis time.

6. STAIRWAY - Getting high is stupid. It makes you STAIRWAY (stare away) into space.

7. MOBILE - I went to buy some food, I was short on cash, and my man said gimme one MOBILE (moment? or does he literally means his mobile phone? haha. i dunno leh!).

8. DEFENSE - I saw this dude running from the! cops, but he hopped DEFENSE (the fence) and got away.

10. AFTERMATH - I don't feel like being at school today so AFTERMATH (after maths literally. hahas!), I'm out.

12. DOMINEERING - My girl's birthday was yesterday, so I got her a DOMINEERING (diamond earring?) .

13 KENYA - I needed money for the subway, so I axe a stranger KENYA (can ya) spare some change.

14. DERANGE - DERANGE (the range) is where da deer and da antelope play.

15 DATA- At my basketball game, I scored thirty points My coach say DATA (erms?) boy.

16. BEWARE - I asked the man at the unemployment office, "Is dis BEWARE (where) I can get a job?"

17. DIMENSION - I be tall, dark, handsome and not DIMENSION (huh?) smart.

18. COATROOM - The ! judge sa id, "One more outburst, you'll be thrown out de COATROOM (courtroom) ."

19. DECIDE - My boy fronting' like he love his girl but everybody know he got a couple of chicks on DECIDE (the side) .

20. FASCINATE - Her dress got 10 buttons, but she so big she can't FASCINATE (fasten it) .
